I’m delighted to be returning to Untitled Art, Miami Beach this year with a new body of work from my Pool Diaries series. This project is centred on some of the world’s most iconic pools, breaking them down minute by minute, hue by hue, into individual colour chips. Each chip carries a line of text that builds into a diaristic narrative, a quiet record of the pool’s day, its people, its movements, its rituals.
The works shown in Miami focus on the Beverly Hills Hotel pool and the Faena Hotel pool, two settings rich with atmosphere, history and cinematic presence. By deconstructing these pools into colour and language, the pieces give voice to places we think of as silent landmarks, revealing the stories held at the water’s edge.
I’m proud to be presenting these works with RHODES and grateful for the incredible response so far, with both Miami pieces now placed in private collections.
